United Provinces of Central America without emblem UPOCA 24 x 59" vintage

The flag of the UPOCA without emblem, abolished in 1949 and salvaged from an oceangoing ship.  The UPOCA flag would have been the vessel's "flag of convenience" or "courtesy flag" and was flown by a vessel which actually called (visited) a port in Central America - likely Honduras, so it has been to the "homeland"! 

Blended material.  Stitched.  Moderate patina, moderate soil, light wear.  No rips or tears. Smells like a ship.

Approximately 24" x 59".

The flag consists of 3 horizontal stripes of blue over white over blue.
