Vintage salvaged ship's international maritime signal flag, used by ships in communication.  The principal system of flags and codes is the Interational Code of Signals. 

Letter / code / radio name:  
Victor. Meaning: "I require assistance".  

Blazon: Argent, a saltire gules.

Synthetic material.  Stitched.  Heavy patina, heavy soil, light wear.  Smells like a ship.
Details: stains, 1 wood toggle / hardware.
