signal flag F (Foxtrot) 48 x 64"

Salvaged ship's international maritime signal flag, used by ships in communication.  The principal system of flags and codes is the Interational Code of Signals. 

Letter / code / radio name:  
Foxtrot. Meaning: "I am disabled; communicate with me."

Blazon: Argent, a lozenge throughout gules.

Natural material.  Stitched.  Medium patina, medium soil, medium wear.  Smells like a ship.
Details: dime sized hole in canton, red stain along fly end.

Approximately 48" x 64".

The signal flag consists of a red diamond on a white field, with each point of the diamond touching the center of each edge of the flag.
