Salvaged ship's company or "house" flag, typically flown by the ship owner or management company operating the vessel.  Varun shipping, headquartered in Mumbai, India, was established in 1971 with a fleet of tanker ships.

Natural material.  Stitched.  Tattered.  Moderate patina, moderate soil, moderate wear.  Smells like a ship.
