Finland flag 36 x 58" vintage

A vintage national flag of Finland, salvaged from an oceangoing ship.  The Finnish flag, also known as the "siniristilippu", would have been the vessel's "flag of convenience" or "courtesy flag" and was flown by a vessel which actually called (visited) a port in Finland, so it has been to the "homeland"! 

Blended natural (?) material.  Screened.  Heavy patina, heavy soil, light wear.  No rips or tears. Smells like a ship.

Appx 36" x 58". 

The national flag consists of a white field bearing a blue Nordic cross.
