Delta signal flag 32 x 54"

Salvaged ship's international maritime signal flag, used by ships in communication.  The principal system of flags and codes is the Interational Code of Signals. 

Letter / code / radio name:  
Delta. Meaning: "Keep clear of me; I am maneuvering with difficulty."

Blazon: Or, a Spanish fess azure.

Natural material.  Stitched.  Light patina, light soil, light wear.  Smells like a ship.

The signal flag consists of a larger blue stripe, between two equal sized horizontal yellow stripes.
