Costa Rica flag 24 x 39" vintage

Country flag of Costa Rica, salvaged from an oceangoing ship.  The Costa Rican "state flag" would have been the vessel's "flag of convenience" or "courtesy flag" and was flown by a vessel which actually called (visited) a port in Costa Rica, so it has been to the "homeland"! 

Synthetic material.  Screened.  Light patina, light soil, light wear.  No rips or tears. Smells like a ship.

Brass grommets. 

The national flag consists of two equal blue and white stripes with one larger red stripe in the center.  The National Coat of Arms is within the red stripe inside a white circle to the left of center.
