Algeria flag 34 x 60" vintage

Country flag of Algeria, salvaged from an oceangoing ship.  The Algerian (People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, North Africa) flag would have been the vessel's "flag of convenience" or "courtesy flag" and was flown by a vessel which actually called (visited) a port in Algeria, so it has been to the "homeland"! 

Natural material.  Stitched.  Light patina, light soil, light wear.  Some yellowing on white field.  No rips or tears. Smells like a ship.

Appx 34" x 60". 

The national flag consists of two equal green and white halves, charged in the center with a red crescent moon and star.
